CrossFit H2 – 8 Week Body Challenge

richCrossFit H2 8 Week Body Challenge Starts August 8th!

The goal for this 8 week challenge is not only weight loss and overall body composition, but to encourage a lifestyle change that can be maintained throughout one’s life. Over the course of the 8 weeks, the athlete will be expected to adhere to the guidelines that are laid out below.

  • Add the zone diet or other clean eating pattern to your CrossFit routine to improve fitness, body composition and overall health.
  • Submit weekly weigh-ins on Mondays and Fridays into Wodify.
    • Log into your wodify account and go to my journal. There it will allow you to enter your weight, water, sleep and food entries. Report if you completed your challenges in the comments box on the final day of the week, Sunday. This is also where you will record your time on the bench mark workout for the 1st and 8th week.
  • Weight and measurements will be recorded on the first day of the challenge and at the finish of the challenge (day 56).
  • Food intake must be logged into the Wodify journal daily. A coach will review it weekly. Food journals for the week MUST be submitted by Friday at 10:00 PM.
  • Complete a benchmark workout in the first 3 days and at the end of the 8 weeks (day 56 – or anytime during that final week).
  • Weekly Challenges must be completed at the gym. If you are on vacation or if something prohibits you from doing so, please email Melissa Ordway at  to be exempt for that week.
  • Must attend 3 CrossFit classes per week! (Exceptions must be approved by Melissa in advance.) Email Melissa at the email address listed above.
  • Aim to consume 1⁄2 of your body weight in oz. of water daily.
  • This is not required. However, it would be beneficial to take before and after pictures. No one has to see them but you.
  • There will be a $25 start up fee that goes to prizes. Top 2 (Male and Female) will earn $ prizes!!

How the Challenge is Scored

You will not be penalized for not strictly following the zone. The reason being, if you don’t lose weight that alone will be your punishment. However, you will be allocated or deducted points based off of the following. Remember, the effort you put forth will decide your success.

  • Completing your weekly food journals and submitting them into Wodify by Friday at 10:00 PM. (+1/-1 point)
  • Recording your weekly weigh-ins on Monday and Friday. (+1/-1 point)
  • Completing your weekly challenge. (+1/-1 point)
  • Must be at the gym at least 3 days a week, unless excused by Melissa ahead of time. (+2/-2 points)
  • Successfully completed the bench mark workout during the 1st and 8th week. (+1/-1 point)
  • Scores will also be based on changes in: pounds, inches, and the bench mark workout.
  • Feedback regarding your food journals will be after the 1st, 3rd, 6th, and 8th week. Weigh-ins MUST be done at Crossfit H2 on the Monday and Friday’s of those weeks (1st, 3rd, 6th, 8th week).
